After months of meetings at the Tony Starlight Lounge, we have now found a free venue where we can host our public meetings. As a result, this Saturday’s 4th-Saturday-of-the-month (October 24th) Portland NORML Membership Meeting will be held at The Analog Cafe and DRD Records Little Theater, located at 720 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Portland, OR 97214. See their website at AnalogPDX.com.

Since The Analog has a liquor license, there is no consumption of cannabis products at the meeting, thanks to OLCC’s rules declaring marijuana forbidden at establishments with liquor licenses. But we are organizing to change that.

In addition to our 4th-Saturday Membership Meetings, we are also establishing two more meetings per month now that we have a free venue to work from.

  • 4th Saturday of the Month = Membership Meetings: updates on the latest city and state regulations, organizing communication with our representatives, guest speakers and raffle prizes.
  • 1st Monday of the Month = Legislative Committee: volunteer members organizing to affect change at the city council, county commission, and state legislative levels.
  • 3rd Monday of the Month = Marijuana Monday: social gathering including the exchange for no consideration of cannabis seedlings between adults.

All our meetings are open to adults age 21 and over. Special events and opportunities may only be available to paid membership. Membership costs just $35 per year and comes with full color membership card and membersip pin.
